At WIFE, we strive to "build stronger communities one project at a time" through our community development projects that go beyond farming and business; they create pathways to resilience, empowerment, sustainability, and shared prosperity. From local initiatives to collaborative ventures, we invest in women and youth-led solutions that uplift families, strengthen neighborhoods, and transform futures through projects that are designed to strengthen rural livelihoods while promoting ecological balance. Working hand in hand with our partners, we support women-led initiatives in quinoa, sunflower, and other value chains by applying agroecological methods that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and sustainable resource use. These projects not only enhance food security and income generation but also empower women and youth to become champions of environmentally responsible agriculture. By combining traditional knowledge with innovative practices, we cultivate resilient farming systems that benefit families, communities, and the planet.

Festivals and celebrations bring our work to life, turning fields and village squares into vibrant classrooms and marketplaces where culture, food, and enterprise meet. At the Food for Life Festival we celebrate nutritious, locally grown dishes and showcase women-led food enterprises through cooking demonstrations, seed swaps, and market stalls that connect producers with customers. World Soil Day anchors our events in stewardship, with hands-on soil-health workshops, composting demos, and advocacy for regenerative practices that sustain both harvests and livelihoods. On the International Day of the Rural Women we honor the leadership of rural women with storytelling, awards, and skills sessions that amplify voices, build networks, and inspire the next generation of farmers and entrepreneurs.

Our life skills training program brings women farmers and entrepreneurs into local schools to teach gardening for wellness, combining hands-on horticulture with lessons in nutrition, mental well-being, teamwork, and small-scale enterprise. Through seasonal garden projects, students learn practical skills—seed selection, soil care, composting, and crop planning—while women mentors model resilience, leadership, and sustainable practices. The program strengthens school communities by turning green spaces into living classrooms where confidence, healthy habits, and entrepreneurial thinking take root. Together, we are cultivating healthier children, empowered women, and local economies that grow from the ground up.

At Women in Farming and Entrepreneurship, we are committed to empowering women and youth through dynamic workshops and capacity-building trainings designed in collaboration with our partners. Our programs focus on equipping participants with practical skills and knowledge in agribusiness management, financial literacy, and innovative farming techniques. A cornerstone of our work is the Sustainability Workshop, where women learn climate-smart agricultural practices, resource efficiency, and eco-friendly business models that ensure long-term growth while protecting the environment. Through these initiatives, we create spaces for networking, mentorship, and hands-on learning, enabling women and youth to thrive as leaders in farming and entrepreneurship while driving sustainable community development.
